The Pfaff Passport 2.0 Sewing Machine

The Pfaff Passport 2.0 Sewing Machine

I LOVE this machine!

Bought it to take to "sew ins"...because I have two Quilt Expression 4.0's (2 homes) and figured the parts would be interchangeable...they are.

Of the 4 machines I own (also an old Singer 305 slant needle) this is truly the best one for piecing...No need for leaders

Plenty of stitches for a quilter, I just cannot find fault with it except that I have gotten very used to the thread cutter feature on the 4.0's...

The IDT truly makes matching a breeze.

Retailer gave me a 1 hour tutorial but person giving it, who obviously knew a lot about machines, wasn't overly familiar with this one.

If I could justify it, I would buy a second one, the new Passport 3.0 for my second home....The 2.0 fits beautifully in the Tutto medium case which, incidentally, carries everything I need.

I sew with a group once a week so the machine goes in and out of the car a lot. This Tutto case holds everything I need.

It's a decent weight—about 14 pounds.

I'm 74 and can handle it easily. This machine has most of the features of larger machines and the learning curve is fairly "flat"...

Instruction manual is not lengthy but is very clear and easy to search.
