As a custom design quilter, I love working with cotton batik fabric. They are my most favorite fabric source with their variations of color in each piece. No exact cut strips of fabric from the same bolt are ever the same.

This quilt was inspired from our local mountain waterfalls. I tried using only the white, blue and green color variations for it and if you look closely, the water starts out blue as it cascades down the quilt, then turning to white as the waterfall mist would do and then into a pool of green at the bottom.

This quilt is truly one of my most favorites.
