Bobbin winding
by Dilys

I have a Brother CS6000 which has ceased to wind bobbins. After completing the installation of the bobbin and pressing the foot pedal it just whirls and does not wind. Any ideas?

If I'm understanding correctly, you're saying that the spindle (that holds the bobbin for winding) isn't turning. My guess is that a belt is either off or worn out somewhere. Unfortunately that means a trip to the sewing machine repair shop for its replacement.
I've had problems with my machine's bobbin winding, and both times it required a repairman's help.
I wish I could be more help.
Piecefully,
