Hard to get a 1/4 inch seam consistently, feet are expensive and it takes several weeks for the dealer to get them.
For the price I did not expect a $100 plus repair bill at 14 months old, I was told it would be a warranty repair. The manufacturer made that right, so it was a plus.
I like that it is sturdy. It replaced a machine I had used for 30 years.
The education classes were first rate. This was the 4th new machine I purchased in the last few years, 2 embroidery machines and a serger (all made by Babylock). This was the first time I was offered free classes (6 about 2 hours each) and they were very good.
I would recommend that a friend buy either a lower or higher priced model. The bells and whistles are not worth the difference in price.
