I started my Ohmygosh! quilt in July, during the worst part of the COVID-19 lockdowns in our area.

I sewed daily for 5 months, and, of course, wasn't happy with the finished size. So, I added a dark inner border, the width of a set of blocks, added another row of blocks, and called it quits. It was returned from the long armer 5 days before Christmas, and due to its increased size, boasts just under 14,000 tiny pieces.

How is it even possible that my scrap pile seemed to grow during the process?

Loved every minute of doing this quilt, but the next time, will upsize my starting size from 1 inch to either 1.5 or even 2-inch strips.
