I can probably do this.

My sister was cleaning out her craft room and is no longer quilting but she had some pieces cut and some batting, so she packed it all up and sent it to me to do what I wanted with.

I looked it over and thought - I can probably make my little lap quilt with this - and so I did.

It is with flannel almost squares and miscellaneous batting.

Having not much of an idea of what I was doing, I just used some decorative stitches from my machine to sew over the seams for quilting. I folded over the edges and sewed them down to finish it.

It will be an awesome lap blanket for in the car and I am now learning more so my next one will be an improvement.

I believe I have caught a quilting bug!
